ABOUT

TEMPORARY DEMOCRACIES is an initiative from the Campbelltown Arts Centre and continues the tradition established by the LiveArt projects Site Lab and Minto: Live which installed contemporary art events and performances in South West Sydney and entered into direct dialogue with the public about their urban reality.

ABOUT THIS BLOG:

This is an online space created by Rebecca Conroy to respond to the project Temporary Democracies, using a combination of text and research. It features a repository of contextual data and responses to the site of Airds including critical writings, curated documents, transcribed conversations, interviews and audio recordings of local stories, and the documented experiences of artists engaging with a community undergoing significant change.
